The objective of the role is to perform chemical synthesis of new molecules, the role involves process development, process validation and transfer to production units.

1. To perform on bench to complete the assigned work in time along with the team.
2. To maintain the chemicals storage as per SOP.
3. To follow all the SOP’S present in the chemical synthesis laboratory.
4. Synthesis of new / existing molecules.
5. Handling Reagents as per the MSDS.
6. Performing the calibration of lab equipment’s like weighing balance, pH meter, and driers.
7. Writing laboratory notebook online, instrument logbook and calibration of instruments.
8. Take direction from the reporting manager/ Designee and work according to protocols.
9. Analytical Data collection, interpretation and results reporting.
10. Performing the lab experiments.
11. Documentation of lab experiments, experimental results and interpretation of spectral data.
12. Maintenance of documents like literature, analytical reports.
13. Discussion with analytical chemists and DQA on analytical results and methods.
14. To account for chemical usage and availability of raw materials.
15. Performing the lab experiments and updating to immediate supervisor.
16. Maintaining of lab notebook and documentation of experimental results.
17. Ensuring the availability of regular solvents reagents and indent to warehouse.
18. Management of effluent generation from lab experiments.
19. Round the clock follow up and monitoring the plant batches during process validation.

21. Strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practices and Laboratory Safety Norms.
